It’s hard to stay focused on punctuation and to spell these days, with shortcodes and slang you mine as well write in a nutshell. But, if you take your writing seriously you should consider an app called Grammarly. This fantastic app hooks up with a few applications to help you succeed in writing.
Grammarly: The Writer Maker
You can capture the free version of Grammarly via an extension of your chrome browser. We found this to be a powerful grammar checker (along with spelling). Yes, we are writing this post with Grammarly installed.
Ever think of starting your blog? Or maybe you want to proofread emails and documents efficiently. If any of these sounds like you, Grammarly is right up your alley. We’ve been using Grammarly for over a year now, and it’s one of the best blogging and writing tools around!
How It Works
Grammarly is a premium service, that will check your blog posts, emails, or documents for grammatical errors. We’ve found that it’s useful if you are a blogger or writer for sure. It’ll check for punctuation, spelling, points of view, and many more aspects of the problematic English language.
Sure, the app does seem to miss a few things, especially on the premium side. But with the premium subscription, you are superpowered by having an expert English writer by your side. So yes, the premium subscription of Grammarly is worth it!
The Grammarly app works with MS Office, Windows App, Chrome Extensions, and there own Android Keyboard. Although, the Android keyboard, while included grammatical corrections, did not have a few features like Emoticons and GIF integrations that we found useful to have.
